Dr. Yongmin He received his B.S. degrees (2009) at China West Normal University. He then completed his Ph.D. (2015) at Lanzhou University (China), working on the synthesis of graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs: MoS2, MoSe2, etc.), and their semiconductor devices (FETs and photodetectors). During the Ph.D. period, he studied in Prof. Pulickel M. Ajayan’s group at Rice University (USA) as a visiting scholar (2013-2015). Later, He worked in Prof. Zheng Liu and Prof. Qi Jie Wang’s groups as a postdoc research fellow (2015~2021) at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), synthesizing wafer-scale TMD materials and exploring nano-/micro-devices for precise/in-situ measurement of the electrocatalytic reaction. Currently, Dr. He is a professor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Hunan University (China).
Dr. He has published over 50 research papers in SCI journals, including Nature Materials, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Physics, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS nano, etc. His current research interest includes atom-thin materials’ synthesis and structural-engineering, advanced micro-/nano-fabrication methods, and on-chip electrochemical devices for applications in electronics and catalysis.
